What does your website actually do all day?

What does 4th Street Agency actually do?

We build websites and growth systems for founder-led service businesses, mostly in home services, real estate and video production. A typical engagement is a custom six to eight page site launched in three to four weeks, with search and AI visibility built in, and you own the site, domain and files from day one.

Who this is for, and who it is not

The businesses we do our best work for have more demand than their website is capturing. They are established, they are usually winning through referral, and the site has become the weakest link in a business that otherwise works.

  • Established service businesses, typically with a founder still close to the work
  • Companies where the phone ringing is the point, not brand awareness for its own sake
  • Businesses spending on ads whose traffic lands somewhere that cannot convert it
  • Not a fit: pre-revenue ideas, or anyone who needs a site next week. Both are better served elsewhere, and we will say so

How an engagement actually runs

No discovery theatre and no sixty-page strategy deck. The first conversation is a straight read of what is wrong and what it would take to fix, and you get that whether or not you hire us.

  • A free site review first. You get the honest assessment before any money moves
  • Scope and price agreed up front, in plain English, with no setup fees
  • Three to four weeks for the core build, design through launch
  • Ongoing care if you want it, covering hosting, security, updates and light edits
  • A full refund if you are ever not completely satisfied with the site

Why search and AI visibility are part of the build

Most agencies treat search as a separate line item sold after launch. We treat it as part of the structure, because retrofitting it is more expensive and works less well. That matters more now than it did two years ago: a growing share of buyers never see a list of ten blue links at all, because an assistant answers the question for them.

  • Pages built to be quoted, not just ranked. Assistants lift self-contained passages, so the answer to a question sits near the top of the page rather than buried in the middle
  • Structured data from day one, so a machine reading the page knows what your business is, where it works, and what it does
  • A page for each thing you actually sell, because one page trying to cover everything competes for nothing
  • Readable by the crawlers that matter, including the AI ones, which a surprising number of sites still block by accident
  • Specific numbers over adjectives. A page that says what a job costs and how long it takes gets cited. One that says "industry-leading" does not

What the work has produced

Twenty-two delivered projects across seven industries. The results that matter are the ones the client can bank, so these are theirs rather than ours.

  • $1.58M in topline revenue and a 25% year-over-year increase in booked jobs for Same Day Garage Door, on a 45+ page rebuild with tracking and A/B testing
  • 16.75% average landing page conversion across that client's campaigns, on paid traffic that previously had nowhere good to land
  • A four-month engagement that took Livli Homes from inconsistent lead flow to acquisition interest from a larger competitor
  • Two founders who came back for a second company, which is the number we watch most closely
  • Fifteen Minnesota businesses, and work delivered in California, Arizona, Ohio and Colorado

What it’s like on the other side of the project.

The questions founders actually ask.

Do I actually own the site?+

Yes. The work is yours, and the system is built to remain useful beyond the engagement.

How fast is it built?+

Timing depends on scope. The first conversation gives you a realistic plan, not a manufactured deadline.

Can you help us get found in Google and AI?+

Yes. Search and AI visibility are treated as infrastructure, not an afterthought.

Is it just you?+

4th Street works as a focused team and brings in the right specialist support for the job.

Can I make edits myself?+

Yes. The build can be structured so your team can handle routine updates without breaking the system.
