What you get, at every price.
You own all of it
The site, the domain and the files are yours from day one, and stay yours if you leave.
Built by the founder
One person designs it and builds it. No account manager, no juniors, nothing offshore.
Search and AI visibility
Structure, schema and answerable copy go in during the build, not as a project afterwards.
Tracking that works
Analytics and conversion tracking wired before launch, so you can tell what the site is doing.
Fast on a phone
A modern stack with no plugin stack to maintain, on hosting built for it.
You can edit it
Prices, hours, service areas and routine copy, without a developer and without breaking the layout.
Four weeks to a site that looks good and actually works.
You have been given a timeline before and watched it slide. So here is every week, and what you have in your hands at the end of it.
- 1
Week 1
Positioning and structure
One working session on what you sell and who buys it. The sitemap comes from that, not from a template.
- 2
Week 2
Design
Key pages designed, reviewed together, revised once, then locked so the build is not chasing a moving target.
- 3
Week 3
Build and content
Built on a modern stack, with copy, search structure and tracking going in as part of the build.
- 4
Week 4
Review and launch
Final review, revisions, launch, and a walkthrough so your team can make routine edits without breaking anything.
Four weeks is typical, not a contractual date. What moves it is almost never design. It is waiting on content and decisions, and you will hear about that the moment it happens.

Six ways to buy a website. All six have a catch, including ours.
Build it yourself
$0 to $500
$0$20kCheapest, and you control every detail.
The catch
The real cost is the six months it sits half-finished. If it were going to get done, it would have by now.
A freelancer
$500 to $3,000
$0$20kGenuinely the right call under about $3,000.
The catch
The cost shows up later, in the maintenance and continuity nobody priced. Freelancers take full-time jobs, and often should.
A local template shop
$3,000 to $6,000
$0$20kFast and familiar, and everywhere in this market.
The catch
A theme, lightly customized, often built by contractors you never meet, and visibly dated within a year of launch.
A monthly website company
$150 to $400 a month, forever
$0$20kCheap to start, and somebody else handles it.
The catch
You never own it. Stop paying and the site goes away, often with the domain. This is the model most owners we talk to have already been burned by.
A large agency
$10,000 to $100,000
$0$20k and beyondReal strategy and genuine depth on the team.
The catch
You will meet the person who sold it far more often than the person building it, and most service businesses cannot justify the number.
4th Street Agency
$3,500 to $12,000
$0$20kYou own it outright. The founder designs it, builds it, and answers the phone.
The catch
We are a small shop, so we only take on a handful of projects at a time. If you need ten people in a room next week, that is not us.
Chances are we have built for someone like you.

Who you work with
Work directly with the founder, start to finish.
Almost every agency this size sells with the founder and delivers with someone else. That is the single biggest reason these projects disappoint: the standard drops between the pitch and the build, and by then the site is live.
- You work directly with Isaac, who does the design and the build
- No account manager relaying your feedback to someone in another timezone
- No junior team learning on your project, nothing sent offshore
- Framer or hard-coded, your call. Certified Framer Pro Expert, or GitHub and Vercel
- Two founders have come back for a second company, the number we watch most
Seen enough?
Fifteen minutes, a straight read on what is worth fixing first, and a real number before you leave the call.
After it launches
A website does not market itself.
Most agencies hand over a site and go quiet. These are the questions that come next, and what each one costs. Take them one at a time, or not at all.
Organic search
The site is live. So where does the traffic come from?
A page for each thing you sell and each place you sell it. Slowest of these, and the only one that keeps paying after you stop.
- Research against what people in your market actually type
- A page per service and per service area, built to rank
- Published on a cadence, so authority compounds instead of spiking
4,000
Organic visits
Slicecraft
What it costs
$1,500 a month, or an agreed per-lead commission, whichever is greater
The base is credited against commission earned in the same period. Never both.
AI visibility
And when someone asks an assistant instead of searching?
More buyers never see ten blue links now. Getting quoted is structural, not a content problem.
- Self-contained answers an assistant can lift without losing the meaning
- Structured data, so a machine knows what you do and where
- Specific numbers, not adjectives. A page that names a price gets cited
600
AI citations in the first three months
Same Day Garage Door
What it costs
$1,500 a month, or an agreed per-lead commission, whichever is greater
Paid ads, managed
That compounds slowly. What produces work this month?
Google Ads, and the landing pages behind them. Most agencies point the ads at your home page, which is how a budget disappears.
- Campaigns tight enough to read, not broad enough to spend
- A landing page per ad group, so traffic lands somewhere it can convert
- Conversion tracking wired before anything runs
$1.58M
Additional revenue, and 16.75% landing page conversion
Same Day Garage Door
What it costs
$1,500 a month, or an agreed per-lead commission, whichever is greater
Commission is capped at $10,000 on any single job.
CRM, routing and automations
Where do the leads actually go once they arrive?
The most expensive lead is the one nobody called. Least glamorous work here, usually where the money is.
- Leads land where your team works, tagged with the campaign behind them
- Routing, so a lead reaches a person and not an unowned inbox
- Follow-up and review requests, which stop the week you get busy
What it costs
Scoped with the build, or inside the retainer
The care plan
And who keeps it from going stale?
The complaint we hear most is not that a site was ugly. It is that it aged badly, got slow, or broke and nobody picked up.
- Managed hosting, SSL and automatic backups
- Monthly health audit: uptime, speed, links, mobile, security
- Light edits included, two business day turnaround
- Cancel any time. The site stays yours
What it costs
$300 a month, optional
What Minnesota owners ask.
What is this actually going to cost?+
Most builds land between $3,500 and $12,000, and the number is assembled from a published rate card rather than from how the call goes. Five designed pages with design direction is $3,500. Copy written for you adds $1,000. Extra pages are $250 to $750 depending on complexity, integrations are $50 each, and blog or CMS records come off one template at $750 to build it and $30 a record. The calculator just above this gives you the same number we quote from internally, and scope and price are agreed in writing before anything starts, with no setup fees.
What happens if I stop paying the monthly option?+
The remaining balance of the build comes due, and you leave with the site. It is worth being blunt about this because the monthly option looks like the thing a lot of owners have been burned by. It is not. It is financing on a build you own, not a rental you lose access to. Either way the site, domain and files are yours from day one and they stay yours.
My current web guy will not give me access to my domain. Can you still help?+
Usually yes, and you are not the first. Domains can be transferred without the previous developer's cooperation in most cases, because the registrar answers to whoever is on the account rather than to whoever built the site. Bring us what you have, even if that is only an email address you think it was registered under, and we will tell you honestly what is recoverable and what is not before you pay us anything. If it turns out the domain is genuinely lost, buying a new one is not the disaster it sounds like and we will say so.
Will I lose my Google rankings if we redesign?+
Not if the migration is handled properly, and handling it properly is part of the build rather than an add-on. Existing pages keep pointing where they should, content comes across, and the structure improves rather than resets. Anyone who tells you a redesign carries no risk at all is overselling it, but the risk comes from ignoring the old site, not from replacing it.
Can I change things myself, or do I have to pay you every time?+
You can change them yourself. The build is structured so your team can update prices, hours, service areas and routine copy without breaking the layout, and the week four walkthrough exists to show you how. On a care plan light edits are included with no clock running against you. Bigger work, a new page or a new section, gets a straight quote before it starts.
Should I just build it myself?+
Sometimes, honestly, yes. If the site is mostly a business card and your time is not what is holding the business back, a builder will do the job. The reason most owners who start that way do not finish is not skill, it is that the site becomes the thing that never quite gets done while you run the company. If that has already happened to you once, it is worth knowing about yourself.
Are you actually local?+
Yes. 4th Street is based in Cottage Grove and most clients are within an hour of the east metro. Fifteen of our twenty-two projects are Minnesota businesses, across all seven industries we work in. The rest are in California, Arizona, Ohio and Colorado.
Do I own the site?+
Yes. The site, the domain and the files are yours from day one, and that stays true if you ever stop working with us. This is worth asking every agency you talk to, because a monthly website that stops existing when you stop paying is a rental, not an asset.
How long does it take?+
About four weeks for the core build, design through launch. That is what it normally takes, not a contractual date, and we would rather say that than quote you a number we cannot control. What actually moves it is how quickly we get content and decisions from you. If it does slip, you will hear it from us at the time rather than at week eight.
Framer or hard-coded? Which do we get?+
Both are on the table and it is your call. We are a certified Framer Pro expert, and Framer suits most service businesses: quick to build, easy for your team to edit, nothing to patch. If you would rather own the code outright, we hard-code the site on GitHub and Vercel, and we can help you connect your own coding agent so you can keep making changes after launch without coming back to us.
What is actually in the free audit?+
A score out of 100 across eight areas, run over every page we can crawl. It covers what search engines and AI assistants can see, how fast each page loads, and whether your structured data, crawler access and sitemap are set up at all. It also puts the prompts your buyers actually type to AI assistants and reports whether you get mentioned, or which competitors get cited instead. It does not grade design or score your conversion rate, because that is a judgement call rather than a measurement, and it is what the call is for.
We are on WordPress. Is that a problem?+
Not at all, and we will migrate your content. We do not build new sites on WordPress, which is a deliberate choice about speed, security and how long the site stays current. If you specifically need WordPress, we are the wrong agency and we will point you somewhere better.
Can you handle our CRM, tracking and analytics too?+
Yes. Integrations, analytics and conversion tracking are part of the build rather than a separate project, which is usually the difference between a site that looks better and a site you can actually measure. After launch we can also take on organic search, AI visibility, paid ads and lead routing, at $1,500 a month or an agreed per-lead commission, whichever is greater. Take those one at a time, or not at all.
We get everything from referrals. Why bother?+
Referrals are the best lead source you have and a site does not replace them. What it does is stop losing the people who look you up before calling. True North HVAC came to us after nine years of referral-only growth for exactly that reason.
What if we hate it?+
We keep working on it until you do not. 100% satisfaction guaranteed means revisions until it is a site you are happy to send people to, not a shrug and a final invoice. You sign off on the design before the build starts and again before launch, so this should surface in week two rather than at the end.
